About the Role
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Sr. E/E Systems Architect with profound expertise in automotive electronics, especially in the domain of Electric Vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of vehicular E/E architectures, component modelling, sizing, selection and integration.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and delineate comprehensive E/E system blueprints for two-wheeler platforms, ensuring optimal integration of all components.
Lead system and component modelling, sizing, simulation and selection processes to ensure the best fit for the intended application, while considering factors like performance, cost, and reliability.
Define and oversee the interactions between hardware and software within the vehicle, ensuring seamless communication and functionality.
Spearhead the selection/development and integration of:
Battery Pack
Vehicle Control Unit (VCU)
Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
Telematics
HMI
Powertrain Components
Wiring Harness
Lighting Systems
Peripheral Components
Carry out analysis/simulations to determine lifespan of components to align with desired outputs.
Integrating and interfacing of low-voltage/high-voltage components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure the holistic integration of all electrical and electronic components within the vehicle's architecture.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in EV technology and E/E system topologies.
Ensure that the selected components align with the overall system requirements and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
M.Tech in Automotive Electronics or equivalent.
B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in component modelling, sizing, and selection methodologies.
Comprehensive understanding of modern vehicular E/E architectures and their intricacies.
Good knowledge of CAN protocols.
Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in the domain of system integration challenges.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at liaising with various teams and stakeholders.
Certifications in HV systems and advanced automotive electronics would be advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum of 10-15 years in E/E system architecture and integration, with a demonstrable portfolio in the EV/HEV domain.
Proven track record in component modeling, sizing, and selection for automotive applications.
