About the Role
We are actively seeking an experienced Prototype Build and Validation Engineer with a specialization in electric two-wheelers. The role involves comprehensive planning and execution of vehicle prototype builds, Design Verification Plan (DVP) preparation, and validation. The candidate will also be responsible for team handling and conducting various vehicle development and homologation trials.
Vehicle Proto Build Plan: Prepare and execute detailed plans for building electric two-wheeler prototypes.
DVP Plan Preparation & Execution: Develop and implement Design Verification Plans for prototype validation.
Team Handling: Lead a team responsible for prototype build and validation processes.
Vehicle Development Trials: Execute various vehicle development trials, including but not limited to:
Gaps and flushness
Fall down test
Side stand stability test
Homologation Trials: Prepare vehicles for homologation trials to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Report Preparation: Document all test procedures, findings, and recommendations in detailed reports.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless development and validation processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in prototype build and validation, preferably within the electric two-wheeler domain.
Strong skills in the following areas will be a plus:
Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) expertise
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Root Cause Analysis
Research and Development (R&D)
